Got this off of an album called "A Scottish Christmas". A fun tune they pair up with The Ale is Dear. Sorry for being a little late for posting Christmas tunes again but just heard this the other day…
Correct title is "The Christmas Carousal".
This tune is already here

It’s actually plated as a strathspey, but I hear it is a song as well, with lyrics in Scots Gaelic.
Of course I meant "played as a strathspey".
Naturally, it would be on here in Gaelic… >_<
Nearly "duplicate" posted this. A setting has been transcribed in "Treoir" magazine : #6 - 1979 under the title "How We Spent The Christmas". It is described as " an old reel - there is a setting in O’Neill’s "Waifs And Strays". Only very minor differences from the above.
Christmas Carousing, played on English Concertina, Fiddle & Hammered Dulcimer.
Photos taken in north Antrim.
