Ive had it in me head for a while. ANyone know more about it?
This tune reminds me very much of "The Tempest" otherwise known as "Ap Shenkin".
I’ve been informed that it is a Welsh tune and a very good one too.
Do you think that this is the tune you possibly had runjing through your head ‘MH’?
It’s quite uncanny really because I’m just in the middle of reconsidering the tunes I have running with it in my own repertoire.
Thanks Hetty… thats it and also the one I posted is similar to a tune in Bayards "Dance to the Fiddle March to the Fife" collection where it was a no name fiddle tune from an elderly Pennsylvania fiddler.
