Paddys’ Green Shamrock Shore

I have always known it as the above

Irelands green shore?!

Hey i really need to learn Ireland’s green shore, as close as i can get it o Tim O’Briens version. Is this the same song? Could someone give me some tips?

ok ill try that out, thanks!

This is not the same tune.

Re: Paddy’s Green Shamrock Shore

the key is given as G major, surely all the F naturals make it G mix? anyway its easier to play [and sing] in D

Re: Paddy’s Green Shamrock Shore

Christy . . What F naturals? The Fs are all sharp in the setting given above. This is the tune to the song with this title as sung by Paul Brady on his 1978 LP ‘Welcome here kind stranger’ (LUN 024).
