Ah I remember this tune. I loved this polka when I first heard it but never actually learned it. I must get my hands on that album again. My suspicion is that this tune has another title but was a favorite of the Abbey Ceili Band banjo player, Liam Forde.

Sometimes this tune is called “The Taur”.It’s the first of two unnamed polkas in the Track 10 set on Jason O’Rourke’s CD, “The Bunch of Keys”.

There’s a recording of Matty Teehan playing this polka in a set, for a set, termed the Ballingarry Polkas. I’ve lost my copy.
