Fifteen comments

Charlie Piggot & Gerry Harrington

This is from Charlie Piggot after he lost some digits & picked up the Concertina. It’s a nice easy tune that flows up & down. Nice tune.

Paddy O’Brien

This tune was composed by Paddy O’Brien from Nenagh in Co. Tipperary.

Alan Kelly

I took this amazing jig from Alan Kelly’s cd but I don’t know the title. I think it is very particular and strange, esecially in the end of part B… I am not sure about the key..perhaps EMin. what do you think?

Hi,

This is a Paddy O’Brien tune - The One That Was Lost. A great tune but already in the database, an early entry.

Jim

Great tune and nice to be reminded of it even if it was in the database - maybe it really was Lost 🙂

Well, Charlie Piggott picked up the box accordion, not the concertina.

Cathal Hayden

Love Cathal Haydens version on live in belfast

Re: The One That Was Lost

What a coincidence! I was about to search for the name of the 2nd tune in this video that was posted today, saw the previous comment in the "Most Recent" list, and realized that this was what I was looking for before even clicking on it. Not to mention the irony of the title. Here’s Brid O’Gorman and Eoin O’Neill from Brogan’s session this week. Starting with Shandon Bells and ending with Anthony Frawley’s.
