This is a nice simple tune of Fahey’s down as Jig No.9 in Maria Holohan’s thesis.

refered to as Fahey’s Jig No. 9, or just in the thesis? (I’m well aware that numbers are not allowed in titles on the site.) This is such a lovely jig!

His tunes are just generally referred to as Fahey’s, the numbering system is just in the thesis, think it might have something to do with the order in which he composed them though
