Inches To Dublin

A Padraig Rynne composition from Cian’s “Three Shouts from a Hill”.

After the 1st time through, they play a variation in bar 4 of the A-part where they hold onto the high c: |c3b bagf|.

Transposed for the fiddle

Not a very good fiddle tune in this key, but it’s ok if you transpose it and avoid string crossing. It sits nicely in B minor, and still maintains the same kind of feel:

Inches To Dublin, X:4

Remembering that I play this tune, I thought I’d pile on here with the version that I’ve played for a decade, or so. There are some changes to convention, but a nice level of tension.
