Up Jumped the Devil

Old-time American fiddle tune, classified as a "breakdown" (reel). Very popular in the 1950s, especially in the southern stares of Arkansas, Texas and Virginia. Very much American in character, but nevertheless might be good fun to play at a session. As well as on fiddles, good for banjos and guitars, but much less so for other instruments.
