From the accordion playing of Damien Connolly, son of Martin Connolly. Played in “C” on the recording, I’ve taken the liberty of transposing it into the more flute-friendly key of “D”. Paddy Gavin’s name crops up now and again – anyone have any information on who he is / was ?
I don’t know, but I used to always get Paddy Glackin and Frankie Gavin mixed up and now yer man here is really going to mess me up.
Kenny- I learned the tune in G. I heard a group of young musicians playing it in Corofin. I’ll post the dots when I can.
