Don’t know where it comes from

I hope it’s not a duplicate………….I got it off a man only starting the fiddle doing the classes of Scoil Éigse………I changed a few bits round for him to make it sound better but it suited my flute more rather than his fiddle…………if anybody knows another name for it i would appreciate their help or any variations yee can think of………….once again……….Cian Ó

I’m not sure if this is a duplicate, but it’s a great tune.

Larry Redican tune - “Mary Shore”

This was composed by Larry Redican, whose own setting was in F (which would have been evern more awkward for the flute!) It was recorded back in the 70s by Kevin Crehan on an LP with Dolores Keane and John Faulkner.

Re: The Piper’s Inn

This tune has been recorded, with slight variations, under the name Pat Sweeney’s Favourite on James Murray album “The Powelsborough LAssies” (track 17). He plays an Eb flute on this set.
