Ten comments

Surprisingly not here unless it’s under a different key. It’s the second of Walsh’s polkas recorded by Patrick Street but only listed as ‘Walsh’s Polkas’ on the sleeve.

It’s the last tune of this set on youtube…….

p.s. anyone have a name for this one?

“Walsh’s Polka” ~ G, A, C & D Major

Another lovely one with his name to it. I love them all… Crazy that this isn’t already here…

Yes, I was very surprised not to find it here. An absolute cracker of a tune.

Thanks Nigel, I’ve updated the title.

Iid try to add a YouTube but suddenly it’s no longer available? Will check again later…

Re: Daly’s Mill

The "Gleanntan" insert accompanying the CD also says that this tune was composed by John Walsh from Derrygallon, near Kanturk, Co. Cork.

John Walsh’s aka Daly’s Mill (comp. John F. Walsh)

My personal favourite. You can hear ‘Daly’s Mill’ on this recording of The Monks of the Screw. At Scully’s, Newmarket it typically goes before ‘Monvara Bridge’, while I tend to prefer it the other way round.
