An Air

Not a reel at all of course but an Air. Another great earworm written by Liz Carrol. From her album with John Doyle, ‘In Play’

Is it just me, or is there an echo of Sting’s “Fields of Gold” in the opening bars?

Guitar Chords for The Island of Woods

I’ve worked out a few chords for this lovely tune but am not sure how correct they are. Does anyone know the chords for this or if the sheet music with a chord chart can be purchased anywhere. I tried Chordify and would not recommend the suggestion it came up with. Many thanks, PadraigOhA

G Maj

Added a version in G (I think) for those of us on flutes and whistles who can get up to a high c, also means we can reach the low bit in the B part as it only goes as low as D.
Weirdly I stumbled across a variation of the tune which does not sound at all right when played in key of D

it does not sound right in D at all, can’t work out why?
