Speed the plough

The name Speed the Plough has a few tunes to its credit. One is a tune popular in Scotland with Country Dance bands and in England with Morris dancers. Another is an Irish tune, related to the Anglo-Scottish one, also known by a few other names, including Croghan Hill. The tune posted here, however, appears to be completely unrelated to either of the other two. I wonder how many of the recordings listed actually feature this tune.
A New England source book calls this tune Cronin’s Fancy Hornpipe.
Here is the ABC notation for the version on track 7 of The Chieftain’s 3. They played it in C, but I’ve transposed it to the more common key of D. If anyone wants it in C, I can post it.

There’s a beautiful tutorial of this tune here:
Gannon, Smith, Blake
Colm Gannon, Jesse Smith and John Blake play a version of this tune under the name "McGreevy’s" as the opening tune on their album "The Ewe With The Crooked Horn". They got it from a tape of Johnny McGreevy from Chicago playing at a late night party…
the version played by Johnny McGreevy as Aidan said above :

Speed the Plough
This is the one on Molloy, Peoples, Brady. Anyone know if it was one of Paddy Cronin’s?

Some more info on Speed the Plough here: http://bit.ly/1Eov9mo
Thanks for that article, Jeremy. Incidentally I ID’d about every title in the Henebry-O’Neill Wax Cylinder Collection, which is what the author said he’d been up to - I put the titles in the comments on the Soundcloud files too. I think there’s only a couple of puzzlers out of the whole batch, almost all of it was commonplace enough. That article is about the other Speed the Plough: https://thesession.org/tunes/1191 That’s the tune I always use the STP title with, the one on this page I call O’Keefe’s Plough, that was Seamus Ennis’s title for it, the O’Keefe in question was famed Kerry fiddler Padraig O’K. Played a few tunes with some contra people last week and they had yet another tune going by this title, no idea about what it was though.
