Norman, the abc’s don’t seem right. You can still edit them if you’re quick before they’re converted to dots. Go to the tune details and click on edit. If it turns to dots it’ll be there forever like that. Is this what you mean…..adjust to you’re satisfaction πŸ™‚

Ach sorry, too late.

Barndance

Would I be correct in assuming this is a 2/4 pipe march? If so it should be listed here as a barndance and the above abc’s is probably what’s meant.

No your right, It’s meant to be a 4/4 march. Cheers for the re-type. It looks pretty good. I’ve replaced the abc notation & I’ve sent an email to see if i can get the dodgy versions of the tunes deleted, so hopefully i’ll get a reply! Cheers

Two compositions in a row, on the same day!?

It might be a record, not in the self-composed in a row, or two submissions on the same day, but two compositions self-submitted on the same day. We did have someone, if memory is serving me well, who submitted six of their compositions in 1 week. A common courtesy in joining any online community would be to read the FAQs. Another would be to get a feeling for the place before the need to express oneself gets the better of us. I like marches, so this isn’t a comment on your creations, but to aide your journey here, the following is an extract from the FAQs asking for a basic courtesy ~ from our beloved Webmaster Jeremy:

Nicely done Bogman, as usual… πŸ˜‰

Taking Bogman’s notation ~ not a bad march at all, a joy to play… Nice one Norman. Here it is as Bogman gives it but making it easier for me to play from the ABCs ~

What tempo do you usually give this?

Also Norman, another courtesy ~ pleeeaasse! ~ leave some comment with regards to the submitted recording ~ tell us something about it, about you, or a tale or two…
