Da Norna

I understand this was a composition of the late, great Shetland fiddler Davy Tulloch. This is an attempted transcription from a recording of the playing of the wonderful Bryan Gear. I understand the tune was named after a fishing boat.

Hornpipe

Tune plays quite well in dotted (crocheted) hornpipe time, which is consistent with the "3 quarter notes" figure that ends each 8-bar cadence, and reinforced by the appearance of the II-chord (G-sharps of the E7 chord) in B4 and B12.
