Soporifc

I learned this tune for Enda Scahill’s CD called "pick it up" Its a really great to tune to play on the Banjo and has a real nice air to it. Play the New Post Office reel after it and you’ll really great a crowd going. Hope you enjoy it.

Presumably you’d want to play something after it to wake people up - or if you’ve succeeded in sending them into REM, then you might have to take a stance of resignation, and play My Darling Asleep…. assuming you’re still awake, that is.

Soporific

Composed by one of the musicians from "Deiseal", I think - Niall O’Callanain ? - anyway it’s on their 1st CD.

Well David I think quite lively actually.

How about this for a set:

The Soporific Hornpipe, 8 hours of silence, then The Lark in the Morning.

Soporific

I’d say you don’t like this tune because it’s to hard on the mandolin. Am I right?😉
