This tune is a composition of John Carty’s, which I learned from the playing of Kevin Crawford. Apparently, Carty’s green car was an object of ridicule for his students, who christened it "the Snot." So he sold it and got a white car- which you’d think would be less prone to crude teasing. Well, it soon became "the Snowball." Unfortunately, this car of the more dignified name overheated and went up in flames in a day of slow traffic.
Sorry, I meant John McCarthy!! I don’t know why those two get mixed up in my head- I’ll always make a fool of myself until I figure out how to organize my brain.
