O’Neill’s 1850, #1253
I love this tune and just had to share it here--even though I know all of O’Neill’s is available elsewhere on the web (the ABCs I’ve submitted are my own transcription, so all mistakes are my fault alone!).
The original is notated in a meter of 2/2 as are (I think) all of the reels in O’Neill’s. Like other reels on the Session, this transcription is in 4/4.
I’ve sharped two c’s in the B part. To play it just like in O’Neill’s, simply ignore the ^s (for ABC readers) or the #s (for standard notation readers).
