Single jig, actually in A Aeolian (so I was left with posting it in either Amin or Cmaj). Transcription is from the Fiddler’s Companion, which ascribes the tune to John Ennis. It’s in O’Neill 1903/1979 as no. 1095 and O’Neill 1907/1986 as no. 395.
The variation of the B part I play (based on the recording by Elandir) is as follows:
|: A3~ AGE | c3 DEG | A3~ AGE | GED DEG |
A3~ AGE | c3 c2d | edc dcA | GEA GED :|
Before I get corrected, Elandir plays the jig in B Aeolian (or Dmaj/Bmin). :-)
Child Of My Heart, X:3
Learned this tune from a semi local piper here on the west coast. Great tune for practicing pulling out those shaded c-naturals.
