How did I ever manage

without the dots (sic) for this “gem”?

the wild rover

The above dots are not quite right

Re: The Wild Rover

If version one is ‘not quite right’, version two is just NO NO NO! If this is an exercise in how NOT to transcribe a tune, its perfect.

Re: The Wild Rover

OK, so that’s zero for three. Actually setting number three is very good if you change the key to G Major.

Re: The Wild Rover

Key to Gmaj done. One out of three right now? 🙂

Re: The Wild Rover

Well done Alberto Zucchi.

Re: The Wild Rover

Thanks, 5stringfool! 🙂

The Wild Rover, X:4

Just added a version with lyrics since it’s easier for me to learn that way, and figured I might as well share it. Thanks to Alberto Zucchi for most of the dot-work.

Re: The Wild Rover

This is sung by Stephen Quigg on his cd “Stephen Quigg Live” - mostly Scottish songs. He has a good voice and plays guitar well.

Re: The Wild Rover

This is also sung by many people without good voices and who cannot play guitar very well……
