About this reel
This is my first composition.
At the session I attend to, here in Lisbon, we finish around 2 am and then I usually start quoting Chuck Norris jokes (i.e. facts). At first it was very strange but with time everybody got fond of it, and it kind of became our session habit 🙂
After the silence pauses in part B, the passing from e to f# is meant to be with a slide. But you can, of course, do it however you want.
When composing this reel, I had in mind the following associations, in the context of a fight between Chuck Norris and several (helpless) enemies:
*** PART A:
- The ornamented F#’s represent sequences of fast low punches performed by Chuck Norris;
- Each sequence of jumps from D to F, A, B, and e represents kicks with increasing altitude, performed by Chuck Norris;
- The ornamented d’s represent sequences of fast high punches performed by Chuck Norris;
- The sequence of 3 ending notes f#, e, and d represents an enemy of Chuch Norris falling on the floor in a KO state.
*** PART B:
- The ornamented g’s and f#’s represent sequences of fast kicks performed by Chuck Norris (g kicks being high and f# kicks being medium high);
- The sequence of jumps from B to e, f#, and g represents kicks with increasing altitude, performed by Chuck Norris;
- Each g followed by a silence and a slide from e to f# represents an uppercut performed by Chuck Norris (the g note), followed a consequent projection of his enemy into a very high altitude flight (the silence and the slide);
- The sequence of 3 ending notes f#, e, and d represents Chuch Norris’ enemy falling on the floor in a KO state.
These associations are obviously just for fun. But I like when there is an association between the tune name and its music :P
Hope you enjoy it!

By the way. The slides in part B can also be interpreted as roundhouse kicks performed by Chuck Norris.

haha, that is funny. My brothers and I also quote those Chuck Norris jokes. I am going to have to learn this.
