The Stig Jig

Composed by guitarist John McCartin from Leitrim, presumably after a character who appeared on the BBC car magazine programme ‘Top Gear’.

The name dates from Jeremy Clarkson and Andy Wilman’s school days at Repton, I believe? They called new boys "the Stig", I think.

The Stig, X:2

This is my take on the tune.Oh and I love the guitar intro that Lunasa use

Re: The Stig

There’s a book for children called "The Stig of the Dump", the character lives in a dump, don’t know the author. Rather that than awful J. Clarkson.

Re: The Stig

Tis a good jig though.
