As I Went Down By Fiddichside

It’s of course not a reel but a slow air. Learned from Debbie Scott. The last note (D) in bar 11 she alternates between natural and sharp.

The transcription of PW’s accompaniment I’ll leave to someone else 😀

Song……

It’s the tune to a song - “The Burnin’ o Auchindoon”, or sometimes called “Willie McIntosh”.

Crackin

Ace, i love playing this then flying into Drowsy Maggie like Debbie does. Lovely wee air, and the accompaniment by Peerie Willie on the recording is sublime.
